Rish 'n Big get together to talk about (and spoil) AVENGERS: ENDGAME. It's the discussion too big for one episode . . . and too big for just us to talk about!

Big's vagabond shoes are longing to stray, so he regales Rish (and you) with details of his recent trip to New York City. He checks out the Statue of Liberty, Times Square, Ellis Island, the Flatiron Building, the Place Where They Keep The CHUDs, the subway (oops already said that), the Empire State Building, the 9/11 Memorial, and Broadway (twice!).

*No, Big doesn't spell his name with an extra g, as I'm well aware. But thanks for reminding me.

Oh, and while you've got me in a bad mood, sit down and listen to this episode like a lady or gentleman. We've worked damned hard for you over the years, providing entertainment that's, for all intents and purposes, free . . . you owe us this one.

Rish Outfield has been bugging me to do an episode in which I talk about the emotional toll that it takes on a parent to have their child go off to college and essentially leave the family for good to start their own life and possibly their own family one day. Well, I resisted the peer pressure as long as I could, but when he called me a poopoo head, it was more than I could bear, so I caved in and made the episode. Here is the result, what is probably a far too intimate glimpse into my life. Hope you like what you see...

Hey! It's another barbecue sketch! Hope you're up for it. This time we get to see a bunch of guys try to one up each other on just how amazingly progressive they are. Enjoy?

Afterward, Rish and Big try to apologize for the sketch, oh and they talk about a few other things too.

Special thanks to Johnny Fiesty and Dave Thompson, Ex-Podcastle Enforcer for lending their voices to the sketch.

The Trench is the only waterway that a ship can take to get to the western continent. Unfortunately, there at the entrance, between the twin peaks of Seidar and Phaestia, prowls Ol' Sly, a gigantic squid creature that would like nothing more than to crack a ship open like a jaca fruit, and pick the sailors out and eat them like the sweet seeds. Small Fry and the Admiral have a plan, though. They mean to take down Ol' Sly once and for all, and open the western continent to their ships.

Afterward, Rish and Big try to decide what really is the worst way to wake up, live squid or porcupine covered in hair gel? Oh, and song. You have been warned.

In today's episode, Rish complains about the new(ish) trend of turning one movie into two movies (or worst, three). To be conti--

This was an episode that was recorded a long time ago (I know, I know, they all are), and it was supposed to go up before Christmas. But what the heck, there's not time like the president, right?

This one presents a recent short called "The Key Collector. I entered a contest where you had to write a story based on a photo of a bank of keys on a wall. They were not hotel keys, we were told, so I wrote this story. Needless to say, I was not the winner.

Just under the wire, since there's still a few hours left of Christmas...at least in our time zone, here's our annual holiday spectacular.

Jaxon has written a letter to Santa Claus. He needs something a little out of the ordinary this Christmas. Will he get it? Ho, ho ho!

Afterwards, Big and Rish talk about the story, believing in Santa, and the crazy things people name their children...and their characters these days.

But in this episode, which started out as me trying to do a blog post when I was too busy to do a blogpost, I talk a bit about what's going on in my world, and an idea I got for forthcoming episodes.

Also, I present, "Sea Monkey Do," a little piece briefly summarizing the origin of the worst child scam in modern history (not taking Pokemon cards into account).

An entity is pulled from its slumber, to perform its duty. What is that duty? It’s pretty distasteful. Listen to the dark poem by Bryan Lincoln that was good enough to force Big and Rish’s hand, and make them run their least favorite literary genre on their show.

Afterward, Rish and Big curse Bryan’s name, and vow to avenge the wrong he has done to them. They also praise his good looks, and flounder about pathetically while trying to interpret just what happened in the poem. Luckily, Sonny See was there to rescue them.

Special thanks to Sonny See for producing and narrating today’s story, as well as providing the episode art.

At long last, the story that you never thought you'd hear. It's the lostest of the lost episodes of the Dunesteef Audio Fiction Magazine.

It is the age of super science. Dr. Nefarious is on the verge of inducing the singularity and destroying the world. The only hope for humanity is Malcolm...well, he's not the only hope, there is a plan C. Don't look for plan B, it's not back there.

Afterward, Big and Rish apologize profusely to Matthew, and tell the sad, twisted tale of The Empire State Building Strikes Back's journey to audio publication. It's a really sad, twisted tale. And...we're really sorry this took so long, Matthew.
